We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2018, at the age of 82, Marthanna Banks Phillips (Clemson, South Carolina), born in Columbia, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Jacob Philip and Nancy Owen Daniel Rast; her spouses, David Houser Banks, Jr. of St. Matthews and James Albert Phillips of Clemson; her children, David H. Banks III of Townville, SC, Jill Spires (Ray) of Seneca, Betsy Jeter (Tom) of Columbia, James H. "Jim" Banks of St. Matthews, Martin Banks (Kathy) of Cayce and Ken Banks (Cheryl) of Piedmont; her stepchildren, Mark Phillips (Galena) of Mt and Nancy Phillips Deatherage (Joe) of Knoxville, TN.; and also Saviour. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
