Malinda Imogene King Barker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Malinda Imogene King Barker in Clemson, South Carolina, who passed away on August 6, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Allen Barker; her parents, Jack King and Nannie Freeman King; and her siblings, Horace King, Tom Jack King, Nellie Fricks Marett and Polly Duckworth.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Barker (Marcia) of Dacula, Georgia, Dianne Martins (Arthur) of West Columbia and Deborah Belcher (Walt) of Safety Harbor, Florida; her sister Betty Prater of Westminster, SC; and her grandchildren, Malinda Hope Drawdy, Teressa Fisher, Alan Belcher, Brent Belcher, Jonathan Barker and Melody Barker. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and concerns for the health of family and friends, Imogene's family ask that all who attend the visitation and service please wear face masks.
