She was predeceased by: her sister Judith Bernal (Egidio); and her grandchildren, John Gardner-Burke and Miranda Jones. She is survived by: her husband LeRoy E. Gardner; her sisters, Mariella Mogollon of Belalcazar and Mary Mogollon of Pilonieta; her children, Lisa (Ray Cox), Kurt (Darlene), Verna (Jimmy Howell), Pamela (Tom Burke), Beatrice (Sid Jones) and Steve (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Maria Gardner Cox, Paige Gardner, Brian Gardner, Leigh Gardner Howell, Mary Anna Howell, Gabriela Gardner-Burke, Briana Gardner-Burke, Jeremiah M. Jones (Jamie), Theo Gardner and Kyle Gardner; and her great grandchild Benjamin Orozco.

Interment will be at a later date in Garden City, S.C. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Andrew Catholic Church building fund (Clemson) or favored charity are encouraged.
