He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Aspland and Doris Booth Aspland; and his daughter Kerstin Helen Aspland. He is survived by: his wife Frieda Jackwert of Wunsiedel; his son Antony John; his brothers, Timothy and Roger; and also, England and Germany. He is also survived by his wife, children, family, and friends.
