With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Bryant Mahaffey of Clemson, South Carolina, born in Liberty, South Carolina, who passed away on September 26, 2020 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Bryant Mahaffey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Bryant and Thetta Bates Bryant; her husband Stan Mahaffey; and her siblings, Eugene Bryant and Shirley Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Mahaffey (Gail) of Clemson, Paul Mahaffey (Sandy) of South China, Maine, Pam Furr (Carlton) of Concord, NC and Cyndi St. John (David) of Columbia; and her sisters, Betty Davis of Clemson and Carol Clardy of Liberty. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID19 Pandemic, private graveside services will be held at Liberty Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central First Baptist Church, 207 Johnson Road, Central SC 29630, or the charity of one's choice.
