It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gail Hope Brazell Smith of Clemson, South Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband William "Willie" Harold Smith; her children, Randy Smith (Mary Jane Smith) of Woodstock, GA, Kemp Smith (Kelly Smith) of Spartanburg, SC and Karen Smith Little (David Little) of Landrum, SC.; her grandchildren, Ashley Brooks, Amanda Stonesifer, Hope Smith, Wade Smith, Skyler Smith and Justin Bowman; and her great grandchildren, Raegan Brooks, Beau Brooks, Mattox Stonesifer, Avery Stonesifer and Ridley Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tryon United Methodist Church, 195 New Market Road, Tryon, NC 28782.
