It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Lancaster Vickey (Clemson, South Carolina), born in Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on March 27, 2018, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Ottis Glenn; her husband Kenneth N. Vickery; and her sisters, Dot Foster and Lois Basinger. She is survived by: her parent Hattie Thornton Lancaster; her husband Ken Vickery of Admissions; her children, Carolyn Cloaninger (Bob) of Greenville and Bob Vickery (Cile) of Easley; her great grandchildren, Carson Bonnette, Laura Bonnette, Anna Cile and Riggs Meisenheimer; her sister-in-law Wassie Vickery of Hartwell, GA; and also Dean of Admissions. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 397 College Avenue, Clemson, SC 29631 or to the charity of one's choice.
