She is survived by: her husband William H. "Bill" Pletta; her sister-in-law Carol Schoner; her nephew Bryan Pletta; her daughter-in-law Cristina Radu; her grandchild Leslie Pletta-Smith; her son-in-law Timothy Smith; and her granddaughter Rachel Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Jimmie's name are made to University Lutheran Church or the Cottingham Hospice House.
