He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Hassel B. Harris and Elizabeth Green Harris. He is survived by: his siblings, Eric S. Harris (Elizabeth M.) of Dacula and Tanya Neal of Marietta, GA; his uncles, David Green, Jr., Matthew Green of Clemson, S. C. and Ted Harrison of Seneca, SC; his nieces and nephews, Darren, Jr. (Anna), Brandon (Vanessa), Erin, Brittany and Courtney; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Karina, Brian, William and Maggie; his close friend Cathy Stowers; and his caregiver Melita McDowell. He is also survived by other cousins, relatives, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Unity Mortuary of Anderson (401 S Fant St, Anderson, SC 29624). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (890 Old Stone Church Rd, Clemson, SC 29631). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Memory Garden (586 Issaqueena Trail, Central, SC 29630).
