She is survived by: her husband Herman; her children, Bill (Lori Spitzer), Elaine (Stewart Bruce) and Wayne (Amie Spitzer); and her grandchildren, Abby Spitzer of Cypress, TX, Katie Spitzer of Cypress, TX, Tyler Bruce of Taylors, SC, Andrew Spitzer (Tori) of Marquette, MI, Lindsey Bruce Mitchell (Zach) of Ladson, SC and Alex Spitzer of Huntsville, AL. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.

Always an example of Christian love in the Lutheran faith, she and Herm lived in three states and vacationed in 27 countries before Alzheimer's started controlling her life.
