He is survived by: his children, Walter Chad Carroway (Hope), Gary Boatwright, Jr. (Stacey), Greg Boatwright (Amanda) and Erin Blair (Sully); his grandchildren, Parker Carroway, Porter Carroway and Charlie Carroway; his great grandchildren, Remi Redd, Brantley Redd and Brynlee Boatwright; and his siblings, Ronnie Gerald Carroway, Jerry Dean Carroway (Xuan), Enola Jane Smith (James) and Kellie Goodwin (Maury).
