It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Lanier Cumbee of Clearwater, South Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Cumbee and Ruby Ferrell Cumbee; and his sister Eileen Padgett. He is survived by: his wife Eldora Bell Cumbee; his daughters, Debra Atkinson (Harold) and Donna Holland; his grandchildren, Heather Holland and Joseph Holland (April Boone); his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Feagin, Tyler Feagin, Waylon Holland and Liam Holland; and his great great grandchild Mila Brazell.
Considering his love for his church, the family has asked that memorials be made to Clearwater First Baptist Church. (http://www.clearwaterfbc.org).
