He was predeceased by: his parents, Winton L., Sr. and Leola Still Whaley. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Mathis Whaley; his sons, Jeffrey W. Whaley (Debby) and Kevin B. Whaley (Denise); his grandsons, Jason, Evan, Justin and Benjamin Whaley; and his siblings, William Whaley and Sylvia DeLay.
