He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret Merriman Moore and Mary Merriman Burch; his children, Sara Beth Abbott (Marty), John William Merriman (Sarah) and William Douglas Merriman (Tara); his grandchildren, Hunter, Sophie, Cole, Coen, Cortlin, Myles, August, Lucy, Shelby and Dalton; and his great grandchildren, Krymson and Stetson.
