Wanda Boatwright Lewis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda Boatwright Lewis of Chesterfield, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. "Bob" Boatwright and Christine Lee Boatwright; and her brothers, Thomas E. Boatwright and Floyd H. Boatwright. She is survived by: her husband Wilson "Bubba" Lewis, Jr.; her daughters, Melinda Warr (Wade) of Alcolu, SC and Vickie Petrea (Brent) of Concord, NC; her grandchildren, Lewis Warr of Gable, SC, Caroline Warr of Alcolu, SC, Graham Petrea (Hannah) of Harrisburg, NC and Carson Petrea (Katie) of Raleigh, NC; her great grandchildren, Mary June, Sarah Mayes and Olivia; her siblings, Sylvia B. Wallace (Elmer) of Chesterfield, SC and Wayne Boatwright (Frances) of Cheraw, SC; her sisters-in-law, Diane Boatwright of Hartsville, SC and Vera Mae Boatwright of Cheraw, SC; and her extended family, Elaine Mosley of Clover, SC and Kathy Forester of Nashua, NH. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Miller Rivers Caulder Funeral Home (318 E Main St, Chesterfield, SC 29709). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel (318 E Main St, Chesterfield, SC 29709). A burial was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at the Lower Macedonia Memorial Gardens.
