It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Walter Blackwell (Chesterfield, South Carolina), who passed away on December 4, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cass Blackwell and Emily Jane Smothers Blackwell; and his siblings, Gladys Blackwell, David Blackwell and Faye Sellers.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Faulkenberry Blackwell; his daughters, Barbara Blackwell Hill (Jim) of Cheraw, SC, Brenda Blackwell Shaw of Cheraw, SC and Sharon Blackwell Pearson (Gene) of Cheraw, SC; his grandchildren, Candace Burgess (Phillip Leviner), Chad Burgess, Cody Pearson, Stacia Oliver (Bobby) and Lauren Emily Pearson; his great grandchildren, Ava, Jagger, Paxton, Chloe, Sophia, Savannah and Jace; and his sister Alise Cassidy of Spartanburg, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
