He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Parrish and Ethel Deese Parrish; his former wife Mary Curtis Parrish; his son William "Bill" Parrish; and his siblings, Robert Lawrence Parrish, Ralph Edward Parrish, Billie Parrish, Judy Parrish Cassidy and Betty Parrish Harrington.
He is survived by: his wife Jennie Freeman Simpson Parrish; his children, Tony Parrish (Kay), David Parrish (Betty) and R. L. Simpson (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Matthew Parrish (Lauren), Stephanie Parrish and Amy Tripp; his great grandchildren, Landon, Madison, Molly Parrish, Kenny Lucas and Kayleigh Locust; and his brother Steve Parrish (Jackie).
