With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Tipton Presnell (Chesterfield, South Carolina), born in Gate City, Virginia, who passed away on May 31, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wrightly "W. W." and Dora Sanders Tipton; her husband Reverend Joe M. Presnell; her stepchildren, Glenn Presnell, Thomas Presnell and Faye Hall; and her siblings, Maggie, Hazel, Faye, Sue, Dorothy, Ray, Dee and Howard.

She is survived by: her stepchildren, Amy Presnell of Cheraw, SC, Bobby Presnell (Kimberly) of Wallace, SC, Joseph Presnell, Jr. (Chris) of Detroit, MI, Michael Presnell (Abbie), David Presnell (Linda), Kay Presnell and Sarah Underwood (David) of Cheraw, SC; and her siblings, Oakie Ramey of Gate City, VA, Paul Tipton of Cheraw, SC and Joe Tipton (Geneva) of Gate City, VA. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
