She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Wilson Chewning and Edna Baker Chewning; her husband Julian Perry Curtis; her granddaughter Amy Leigh Curtis; and her siblings, Ronnie Chewning, Sr. and Peggy Rodgers.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Curtis (Cindy) of Chesterfield, Todd Curtis of Chesterfield, Wanda Miles (Charles Ray) of Mount Croghan, Pam King (Randy) of Chesterfield, Theatus Freeman of Chesterfield and Jackie Curtis (Terry Wayne Brigman) of Chesterfield; her grandchildren, Charlie Miles (Caroline), Jamie Miles (Jenell), Jeremy Curtis (Brittany), Tyler King (James Paxton), Taylor King (Lizz), Chase Freeman (Denise), Baylin Brigman, Ava Grace Freeman and Holton Brigman; her great grandchildren, Briley Miles, Jamison Miles, Raegan Canipe, Lucas Miles, Dayton Freeman and Nolan Curtis; and her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Curtis and Bill Curtis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
