It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott Gardner Owen (Chesterfield, South Carolina), who passed away on April 9, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Weldon and Ola Gardner Owen; his daughter Susan Burch Owen; his son-in-law Chucky Wayne Crowley, Sr.; and his siblings, Sarah Owen Shively, James Raeburn Owen, Bonnie Jean Rivers and Georgia Dale Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Burch Owen; his children, John Scott Owen of Chesterfield, SC, Anne Owen Howey (James "Jimbo") of Lancaster, SC and Ellen Owen Crowley of Chesterfield; and his grandchildren, Austin Scott Owen (Jena), Dylan Preston Owen (Kinsley Lewis), John W. "Mac" McCormick Jr. (Jessi), Anna Howey Adcock (Shawn) and Chucky W. "C. J." Crowley Jr. (Madison Teal). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; along with generations of nieces and nephews.
