He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Burgess and Bessie Jane Cagle; and his siblings, Jerry Leroy Burgess and Mary Jane Burgess. He is survived by: his daughter Brandy Burgess of Pageland, SC; his brother Billy Burgess of Pageland, SC; and his nephews, Michael Burgess (Tonya) of Pageland, SC and Jeffrey Burgess of Jefferson, SC..
