He was predeceased by: his father Perry Lee Joplin; his brother Marty Wayne Joplin; and his brother-in-law Larry Steen. He is survived by: his mother Martha Craig Griffin (Emsley) of Lancaster, SC; his close friend Kelly Alexander; his children, Carrie Lynn Joplin of Charlotte, NC, Jesse Wayne Joplin (Anna) of Pageland, SC, Christopher Perry Joplin of Pageland, SC and Katelyn Marie Price of Pageland, SC; his grandchildren, Kalyssa, Bayden, Lyric and Hudson; his siblings, Lisa Steen of Ruby, SC and Danny Joplin (Gloria) of Jefferson, SC; and his mother-in-law Vickie Alexander of Kannapolis, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
