He is survived by: his parent Irene Gainey Goodale; his spouse Sue H. Goodale; his daughter Charlotte Goodale Evans (Adam) of King, NC; his granddaughter Chelsey Taylor Evans of Winston Salem, NC; and his siblings, Jerry Goodale (Gail) of Cheraw, SC, Thomas Goodale, W. M. Goodale (Miriam) and Elizabeth Goodale of Richmond, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his faithful and loving pet.
