As we bid Richard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Curtis Tucker; and his brother-in-law Edward Dean Brantley. He is survived by: his sister Vicki Tucker Brantley of Chesterfield, SC; and his niece Dr. Kinsey G. Brantley of Chesterfield, SC. He is also survived by numerous aunts and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (293 Zoar Rd, Chesterfield, SC 29709). A reception was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Cemetery and Other Times.
