It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Carpenter (Chesterfield, South Carolina), born in Morven, North Carolina, who passed away on January 14, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilliam Carpenter and Kate Brock Carpenter; his wife Annie Sue Eddins Carpenter; his son Timothy Raymond Carpenter; and his brothers, Allen, Albert, William and Roger Carpenter.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Mindy Sue Carpenter Napier (Stephen) of Polkton, NC and Richie Raymond Carpenter of Peachland, NC; and his great grandchildren, Bradley Hunter Caudle and Blake Napier. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
