He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Stanley and Ruby Roten Stanley; and his siblings, Clifford Stanley, Daymon Stanley and Pauline McKinney.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Elliott Stanley; his sons, Mark Stanley (Michelle) of Chesterfield, SC and Chris Stanley of Advance, NC; his grandson Owen Stanley; and his sisters, Mary Puperi of Akron, OH and Sandra Garcia (Alex) of Bethlehem, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
