With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ophelia Boatwright Simpson (Chesterfield, South Carolina), who passed away on May 23, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hunley and Nancy Davis Boatwright; and her children, Linda Simpson Lewallen, Dianne S. Chisholm and Judge Van Simpson.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Jennie Simpson Parrish of Chesterfield, SC; and her grandchildren, Gary Chisholm (Glorian) of Patrick, SC, Johnny Chisholm (Terri) of Patrick, SC, Dana Chisholm of Patrick, SC, R. L. Simpson (Rebecca) of Greenville, SC, Chad Lambert of Patrick, SC and Derek Lewallen of Patrick, SC. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
