She was predeceased by: her parents, James Abernathy and Geneva Abernathy; and her former husband J. C. Hannah. She is survived by: her husband C. B. Rivers; her son Billy Hannah (Sherri) of Concord, NC; her stepsons, Mike Rivers of Chesterfield, SC and Carrol Rivers of Chesterfield, SC; her brother Edward Abernathy (Opal) of Kannapolis, NC; her grandchildren, Elysabeth of Concord, NC, Nataani of Concord, NC and Alexandra of Concord, NC; her stepgrandchildren, Micheal Rivers (Lindsey), Shannon Rivers (Stephanie) and Ashley Neel (Justin); and her nephews, Mark Abernathy, Jamey Abernathy and Wesley Abernathy.
