It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Crawley Thurman (Chesterfield, South Carolina), who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Franklin and Olive Oliver Crawley; her husband David Perkins Thurman, Sr.; and her siblings, John Robert Crawley, Will Frank "Hank" Crawley, Douglass "Doug" Crawley, Mary Etta "Makie" Kirkley, Helen C. Rivers and Batalee "Bate" Esparza.
She is survived by: her children, David Perkins Thurman, Jr. (Sharon) of Ruby, SC and Omerea Thurman of Ruby, SC; her grandchildren, Sarah Thurman Griggs (Justin), David Thurman, III (Emalee), Rob Clemons (Lori) and Kelly Clemons (Jaywon); her great grandchildren, Jada Clemons, Skylar Clemons and Gracelyn Griggs; and her siblings-in-law, Genaro Esparza, Mary Lou Crawley of Chesterfield, SC and Irene Crawley of Ruby, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
