We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2020, at the age of 64, Lester D. Tarlton (Chesterfield, South Carolina), born in Hartsville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lester Junior Tarlton; and his brothers, Tommie D. Tarlton, Thomas E. "Ed" Tarlton and David Tarlton. He is survived by: his mother Margie Dean Tarlton; his wife Susan Donahue Tarlton; his children, Chris Tarlton (Melonie) of Mt. Croghan, SC, Dewayne Tarlton (Melissa) of Cassatt, SC, Lee Copeland (Allison) of Jefferson, SC, Tabitha Carnes (Michael) of Jefferson, SC and Shelly Bailey (Josh) of Lancaster, SC; his grandchildren, Ashley Holman, Taylor Nannie, Britt Tarlton, Alex Tarlton, Devon Simpson, Hunter Tarlton, Elizabeth Oliver, Landon Oliver, Zoey Copeland, Ava Austin, Harlee Copeland, Kaleb Carnes, Chloe Carnes, Lily Bailey and Jagur Bailey; his siblings, Freddie Tarlton (Barbara) of Jefferson, SC, Dianne Mangum of Jefferson, SC, Faye Watkins (Troy) of Mt. Croghan, SC, Judy Tarlton Small (JR Taylor) of Peachland, NC and Hope Barrett (Kenny) of Jefferson, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Annette Tarlton of Mt. Croghan, SC and Dolly Tarlton of Mt. Croghan, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Friday, April 17, 2020 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home under the guidelines set forth due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
