He is survived by: his wife Rachel Wood Gaskins; his children, Robert Wayne "Bobby" Gaskins (Brigetta) of Chesterfield, SC, James Patrick "Jimmy" Gaskins of Chesterfield, SC and Cynthia Annette "Cindy" Lowery (Danny Russell) of Chesterfield, SC; his grandchildren, Brandi Lowery Brumley, Paige Gaskins Lindsey, Hailey Lowery Ward (Nathan), Jordan Gaskins, Makayla Gaskins, Sarah Gaskins, Summer Gaskins, Bobbie Lynne Gaskins and Tyler Gaskins; his great grandchildren, Tegan Brumley, Bristol Brumley, Mya Faith Gaskins and Derrion Kody Gaskins; his siblings, Mike Gaskins (Patricia) of Chesterfield, SC, Ricky Gaskins (Vicky) of Chesterfield, SC and Brenda Gaskins Curry of Chesterfield, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce S. Wood of Cheraw, SC, Mary Wallace, Sr. (Donald) of Chesterfield, SC, Joyce Davis of Bennettsville, SC, Lynn W. Davidson of Chesterfield, SC, Carol Traini of Cheraw, SC and J. B. Wood (Joyce) of Chesterfield, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
