It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Luther Hill Sr. (Chesterfield, South Carolina), who passed away on January 26, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald D. Hill, Sr. and Margie Chewning Hill; his brother Donnie Hill; and his nephew Dennis Hill. He is survived by: his wife Sybil Anne Roberts Hill; his children, John Luther Hill, Jr. (Becki) and Carmen Hill Wilks (Randy); his grandchildren, Hillary Wilks Hendrix (Tyler Gregory), Hayden Wilks, Ely Hill and Noah Hill; his great grandchildren, Heidi Anne Hendrix of Chesterfield, SC and Timber Gregory of Chesterfield, SC; his brother Arlo C. Hill (Judy) of Prosperity, SC; his nephews, Steven Hill of Prosperity, SC and David Hill of Chapin, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Elaine R. Smith, Rebekah R. Jacobs (Anson) and Neatus R. Sellers.
