He is survived by: his sister Phyllis Deese of Jefferson, SC; his nephew Josh Desse (Danielle) of Lexington, SC; his niece Mallory Deese of Jefferson, SC; his great-nieces, Reneesmee Deese and Isadora Deese; his close friend Patrice Stubbs of Raeford, NC; his stepchildren, Jessica Hayes of Hope Mills, NC and Justin Lewis of Rockingham, NC; his granddaughter Olivia Ford of Hope Mills, NC.; and also April Stubbs.
