He is survived by: his wife Sarah B. "Butch" Loflin; his children, Herbert Loflin, Jr. of Laurinburg, NC, John Robert "Sam" Loflin, Jr. (Lynn) of Teal's Mill, SC and Susan "Michelle" Griggs (Vincent James) of Cheraw, SC; his grandchildren, Kristy Driggers (Johnnie, IV) of Laurinburg, NC, Landon Chase Loflin of Hamlet, NC, Dustin Coleman Loflin (Alexyss Parker) of Cheraw, SC, Brad Gainey (Lindsay) of Little Mountain, SC, Megan McDowell (Justin) of Cheraw, SC and Nikki Griggs (Devin Tolson) of Patrick, SC; his great grandchildren, Johnnie V, Abigale, Molly, Maggie, Marah, Kaydence, Sadie and Kolby; his brother Julius Loflin, Sr. (Sally Jackson) of Cheraw, SC; his siblings-in-law, Keith Baker and Pat Burr of Bladenboro, NC; and his close friends, Wilbur Burns, Billy Sylvia, Woodrow Mathis and George Sellers. He is also survived by numerous niece and nephews.
