She was predeceased by: her parents, Bogan Roscoe and Mildred "Millie" Burr Roscoe; her husband John Whittie Hammond; her siblings, Donnie R. Griggs, Alma R. Brigman, Jackie R. Edgeworth, Tommy, Joel and Gene Roscoe; and her grandson Nick Lovato.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Lovato of Fletcher, NC, Robert Hammond (Lisa) of Cheraw, SC and Kerry Hammond (Noel) of Wake Forest, NC; her grandchildren, Cori Chamberlain (Kevin), Toni Lovato (Chris Krammer), Danny Hammond, Tassie Hammond and Emma Hammond; her great grandchildren, Lorelei, Kieran and Meadow; and her siblings, Mickey Roscoe (Barbara Ann) of Cheraw and Steve Roscoe of Marion, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
