We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2020, at the age of 95, Essie Mae Mills Wallace (Chesterfield, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Lee and Carrie Henrietta Jordan Mills; her husband Robert Hampton Wallace, Sr.; and her siblings, Curtis Lee, Johnny B., Joe Lee, Benny Ray Mills, Lessie Hammonds, Bessie Price, Minnie Mae McCorkle, Tressie Johnson and Roxie Mills Joplin.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Joe Wallace, Jr. (Sandy) of Jonesboro, GA and Sue Elliott (A. W.) of Pageland, SC; her grandsons, Robert H. Wallace, III and Seth Wallace; and her great grandchildren, Robert H. "Bo" Wallace, IV and Kayleigh Wallace. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
