She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira C. Mauldin and Otha Lee Lowery; her brother James-David Mauldin; her half-sister Dorthas Mauldin Leitch; and her aunt Annie Mauldin.
She is survived by: her sons, Van and Kevin; her daughter-in-law Carol; her grandchildren, Jesse Short (Christy), Joel Short and Janell Broznak (Skip); and her great grandchild Raina Ann.
