Donald K. Tyner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald K. Tyner (Chesterfield, South Carolina), born in Hartsville, South Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2020 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh Hatcher and Margaret Starling Tyner Hatcher; his stepfather Rev. Albert "Ab" Hatcher; his brother Charles Tyner; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Johnson and John Gary Rhynes.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Rhynes Tyner; his sons, Timothy Wayne Tyner (Kim) of Wadesboro, NC and Mitchell Keith Tyner of Morven, NC; his grandchildren, Reagan Tyner and Griffin Tyner; his sisters, Clara Cole (Buddy) of Wallace, SC and Diane Johnson of Wallace, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Boan of Chesterfield, SC and Terry Rhynes of Wallace, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made in Mr. Tyner's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital (in honor of Jacob Gaddy), 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Hospice Haven of Richmond County, 1119 HWY US-1N Rockingham, NC 28379.
