It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Griffin Hayes (Chesterfield, South Carolina), who passed away on April 25, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rance M. Griffin and Peggy L. Griffin; her sister Myra Lynn; and her grandparents, John Oscar, Paris Griffin, Ralph and Nellie Laney.

She is survived by: her husband Donnie; her children, Alisia Threatt (Matt) of Little River, SC, Candice Johnson (Josh) of Pageland, SC, Lucas Hayes (Meredith) of Wingate, NC and Matthew Hayes (Amber) of Greer, SC.; her grandchildren, Dylan Threatt, Nate Threatt, Malachi Threatt, Kash Johnson, Potter Johnson, Paisley Hayes, Phoenix Hayes, Patton Hayes, Pierson Hayes, Pryor Hayes, Adilae Hayes and Everleigh Hayes; her siblings, Tammy Barton (Steve) of Lancaster, Rex Griffin (Emogene) and Rhett Griffin (Sandra); and her aunts, Roxie Griffin Williams, Luna Anne Griffin Rollins of Pageland and Linda Wallace of Charlotte.
