He was predeceased by: his parents, David Redfern and Lena Graham Jackson; and his brother David Phillip Jackson. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Fay Jackson Hubbard; his niece Buffy Jackson Challenger; his great-nephews, Jackson Challenger and David Philip Challenger; and his close friend Sonya Sievers-Wattier. He is also survived by 12 cousins.
