Carroll Melton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carroll Melton (Chesterfield, South Carolina), who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Melton and Lucille Hancock Melton; his wife Jennie Melton; his sisters, Evelyn Vining and Gladys Black; and his daughter-in-law Marlene Melton.
He is survived by: his children, William "Tim" Melton (Debbie) of Ruby, SC, Jamie Melton of Ruby, SC and Dustin Melton; his grandchildren, Kayla Melton, April Martinez (Beto), Jimmy Wallace (Shay Jones), Danny Wallace (Bessie) and Chase Ray; his girlfriend Wanda Donahue of Mt. Croghan, SC; and his siblings, Ricky Melton (Dianne) of Ruby, SC, Danny Melton of Ruby, SC, Vicky McIntyre (Frank) of Ruby, SC and Vivian Brigman (Alaina) of Ruby, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miller Rivers Caulder Funeral Home (318 E Main St, Chesterfield, SC 29709). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel (318 E Main St, Chesterfield, SC 29709). A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Of God Cemetery (Ruby, SC 29741).
