He was predeceased by: his parents, Fancisco Garces and Alicia Garces. He is survived by: his wife Jonnie Polson Garces; his sons, Juan Garces (Angela) of Lancaster, SC and Carlos A. Garces, Jr. (Tara) of Cheraw, SC; and his siblings, Frank Garces, Jr. of Miami, FL and Amelie Mondes of Illinois. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
