It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bobby R. Brown of Chesterfield, South Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Willie" Charlie Brown and Bertha Odom Brown; and his siblings, Grace Brown, Billy Brown, Charles Brown, Leona Ferguson, Ila Hines, Lorene Watson, Iva Brock, Betty Caulder, Cammie Chinery and Tony Wayne Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Janice H. Brown; his sons, Jamie Brown (Jami) of Ruby, SC and Michael Brown (April) of Jefferson, GA; his grandchildren, Rachel, Kaylee Hudson (Dalton), Elisabeth, Madison Diggs (Kevin), Sarah, Rebekah, Joanna, Nathan, Leah and Micah Brown; his great grandchild Wrenlee Hudson; his sister Trena Curtis of Chesterfield, SC; and his sister-in-law Ann McDonald of Mullins, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pine Grove Baptist Church (293 Zoar Rd, Chesterfield, SC 29709). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery (4963 Cross Roads Church Rd, Ruby, SC 29741).
