He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Franklin "Jack" and Rebecca Eddins Curtis; his wife Ruth Wright Curtis; his siblings, Gary Wayne "Sam" Curtis, Jean Curtis Mann, Pat Curtis Gordon and Sandra Curtis Squires; his great grandchild Alaina Brooke Quick; and his daughter-in-law Teresa Boan Curtis.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Ray "Bee" Curtis, Jr. of Chesterfield, SC, Deanna Suits Chilton (Jeff) of Little River, SC and Timothy Vance Suits of Cheraw, SC; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Curtis Quick, Samantha Crowley (Chris), Zachary Chilton (Lindsey) and Dylan Suits; his close friend Betty Melton Short; and his sister Cheryl Curtis Crawford (Stan). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
