She was predeceased by: her parents, William Curtis Griggs and Sallie Griggs (Boswell); and her brother William Paul Griggs (Kappie). She is survived by: her husband John; her sons, Johnny (Carol) and Chris (Beth); her grandchildren, Jillian (Fredrick), Grayson (Andrew), Ian and Dorian; her great grandchildren, Owen and Isaac; her sister Shirley Griggs White; her niece Susan (Sera); her children, Katherine, Paul and Edward; and her pets, Izzy and Sweetie.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Chesterfield County Animal Shelter.
