Betty Lucille Shaw Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lucille Shaw (Chesterfield, South Carolina), who passed away on December 24, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Allen and Betty Elizabeth Quick Shaw; her husband James Wesley McDonald, Sr.; her daughter Sandra Shaw; her grandchildren, Scott Freeman and Thomas Creech; her great grandchild Pagen Elizabeth Freeman; and her brothers, James Shaw, Willy Shaw, Murley Shaw, Franklin Shaw and Buster Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Shaw (Marie) of Cheraw, SC, Jack McDonald of Jacksonville, FL, Pagen Freeman McLaughlin (Oscor) of Cheraw, SC, Barbara Radford (Tommie) of Camden, SC and Debbie Campbell (Curtis) of Cheraw, SC. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Shaw Family Home (37 Vaughn Dr, Chesterfield, SC 29709). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Society Hill Church of God (378 Pressley Ave, Society Hill, SC 29593). A burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at the same location.
