It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty E. Crutchfield (Chesterfield, South Carolina), born in La Crosse, Virginia, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Ezell and Annie Hightower Ezell; and her sisters, Evelyn Bowers and Janet Corum. She is survived by: her husband Don Crutchfield; her daughters, Leslee Knight (Alan) of Columbia, SC and Tonya Whitaker (Todd) of Kannapolis, NC; her grandchildren, Hannah Mock (Nick), Courtney Griggs and Andrew Whitaker (Sophie); her great grandchild Nash Mock; and her siblings, Janice Evans of La Crosse, VA, Steve Ezell (Allison) of Concord, NC and Junior Ezell (Pat) of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
