With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bennie Ray Gulledge (Chesterfield, South Carolina), who passed away on September 2, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Tillman and Annis Susan Allen Gulledge; and his granddaughter Brittan Melton. He is survived by: his wife Emma F. Gulledge; his children, Tony Gulledge (Debra) of Kannapolis, Billy Gulledge (Sherry) of Kannapolis, Judy Waddell (Barry) of Chesterfield, SC., Brenda Rowell (Mike) of Kannapolis and Kathy Melton (Roger) of Kannapolis; and his brother Bobby Gulledge (Nancy) of Kannapolis. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
