It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Benjamin J. Rivers (Chesterfield, South Carolina), who passed away on February 2, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Rivers and Myrtle Lee Davis Rivers; his wife Tina Allen Rivers; and his sister Maxine Eddins. He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Williamson (Bruce) of Cheraw, SC; his grandsons, Kevin Williamson (Rachel) and Matthew Williamson; his sister Betty Jean Ratliff, Sr. (William H. "Bill"); and his nieces and nephews, Phyllis Vernon (Jay), Lee Donathon (Stephen), Darrell Ratliff (Denise), William Ratliff, Jr. (Penny), Kerwin Eddins (Sandy) and Karen Martin (Darrell). He is also survived by numerous great nieces, great nephews, and a host of cousins.
