It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ratley Spencer (Chesterfield, South Carolina), born in Dillon, South Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Ratley and Veta Duncan Ratley; and her brothers, Douglas and Bryan Ratley. She is survived by: her husband James Spencer; and her children, David White (Deronda) of Teals Mill, Juanice Berry of Cheraw, Jim Spencer (Lorie) of Cheraw, Jeff Spencer (Tracy) of Cheraw and Joe Spencer (Jeanette) of Cheraw, SC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
